Chaerophyllum temulum grows as a biennial, can reach a height of over one metre and flowers in Central Europe from June to August. All parts of the plant are slightly poisonous.
Distribution & habitates
Rough chervil is native to Asia, Europe and North Africa and also occurs as an introduced species in other regions (source).
It can be found on or in forests, in front of bushes and on roadsides.
